It is my privilege to introduce a distinguished personality whose life reflects discipline, knowledge, and service to the nation and society.

Dr. Chandra Shekhar (Retired), now known as Dr. Chakra Acharya, was born in Village Bhanvi, District Meerut. A former Indian Navy officer, he has served the nation with dedication and excellence. During his service, he was honored with the CNC Award and recognized as Best Writer, Best Poet, and Best Instructor. He also served as an Engineer Officer on INS Gaj in Visakhapatnam and represented India through several international defence visits including Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Oman, and France.

Academically brilliant, he secured first position throughout his academic journey, ranked among the Top 10 in the Uttar Pradesh Board examination, and stood first in his district. He holds a B.Sc. in Marine Engineering and a DNYS diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, reflecting his deep commitment to both science and holistic wellness.

Beyond his defence career, Dr. Chakra Acharya has established a remarkable presence as a poet, writer, yogi, patriot, and social worker. He has authored four books, with thirty-eight more currently in development, and has written more than five thousand articles on Vedic astrology. He also serves as Co-Editor of the national monthly magazine Martand Sandesh.

He is the Founder and Director of Chakra Dham Gurukul in Modinagar, an institution dedicated to building a healthy, value-driven, and self-reliant future generation through yoga, meditation, value education, music, gymnastics, and Vedic practices.

Currently based in Lonavala near Pune for defence-related initiatives, he continues to conduct awareness lectures across India, educating defence personnel and their families about welfare benefits while also promoting yoga, natural healing, and marital harmony programs within defence units.

Dr. Chakra Acharya is also the Director of the Vedic Astro Academy Global Foundation, through which he conducts seminars, courses, and consultations across major cities in India.

He is widely recognized as the world’s first 7-Chakra Astrologer, integrating astrology, Vastu, handwriting analysis, Ayurveda, and Sanskrit to connect human life with the science of the seven chakras.

Under his guidance, residential camps at Chakra Dham bring together meditation, yoga, memory training, natural healing, Reiki, mantra science, and organic living to promote holistic well-being.
